HISTORY
OVERVIEW
Established on January 6, 2003, Reid Brothers Irrigation and Equipment Company, LLC. brings years of first hand farming experience and extensive factory training to every job. From our two facilities in Americus and Unadilla, we provide system solutions to areas of Georgia, Alabama, Florida, and South Carolina.
FARMING EXPERIENCE
Before purchasing Garland Mears Irrigation in 2003, the Reid brothers, Jim and William, farmed Sumter and Lee Counties for 24 years, managing 45 pivots on their personal and leased farms. This background gives us an appreciation for the value of performance and the cost of downtime. We understand the value of an efficient design that reduces labor, reduces energy cost, conserves water, and maximizes crop yield.
